Caramel Sauce

Caramel Sauce, that you pour all over the steamed Sticky Toffee Pudding.  (Get a helper for the stirring.)

Will keep in the fridge for a month if you have left overs.



1/2 cup Butter
1 cup Packed brown sugar
1 ½ cups Heavy whipping cream


  • Combine the butter, heavy cream and brown sugar in a heavy saucepan
  • Heat to a roiling boil over a medium heat until mixture is thickened, takes about 8 minutes – STIR CONSTANTLY.
  • Serve over steamed pudding, ice cream, anywhere you need a caramel sauce
