Caramel Sauce, that you pour all over the steamed Sticky Toffee Pudding. (Get a helper for the stirring.)
Will keep in the fridge for a month if you have left overs.
|1 cup||Packed brown sugar|
|1 ½ cups||Heavy whipping cream|
- Combine the butter, heavy cream and brown sugar in a heavy saucepan
- Heat to a roiling boil over a medium heat until mixture is thickened, takes about 8 minutes – STIR CONSTANTLY.
- Serve over steamed pudding, ice cream, anywhere you need a caramel sauce
